Packaging and Handling

At The Songbird Collection, we take quality seriously!

From handpicking and curating every single piece of our jewelry to hand-wrapping every single one of our orders, you will see the love and passion that goes into the entire process until it arrives in your hands. We take pride in everything we do, and beautiful packaging is an integral part of your shopping experience.

Returns and Exchanges

At The Songbird Collection, your satisfaction is our utmost priority. If for some reason you aren't completely satisfied with your purchase, return the item(s) within 14 days in its original packaging and in unused condition. Your return package needs to be post marked at 14 days of receiving your order.

EMAIL US FIRST to discuss if you would like to exchange, be refunded*, or receive a store credit. Before sending the item, please email us at customerservice@thesongbirdcollection.com.

Include in the email the following information:

  • Your full name 
  • Order number 
  • list the item(s) to return and reason for return

The Songbird Return Policy

  • Merchandise must be returned with postmark within 14 days
  • Merchandise must remain in the same condition at which it was received
  • All merchandise marked as *FINAL SALE* in product description are not eligible for return
  • Earrings are FINAL SALE for hygienic purposes
  • All Hand Made items and SALE items are FINAL SALE
  • Last Chance items are FINAL SALE
  • Special Occasion Items are FINAL SALE as marked in product description
  • Gift Cards are non-refundable & can not be returned
  • Merchandise must be returned to us in original condition with all parts in tact before we can move ahead and issue a refund/exchange/ or store credit.
  • HOLIDAY SHOPPING - Items purchased between November 14 - December 22: returns must be postmarked by January 10th.

Return/Exchange Shipping Fees

  • Customers are responsible for any costs related to return shipping. 
  • Original shipping fee (if there were any), will not be refunded.

  • Should you receive damaged, defective, or the wrong item(s), please email us first wit a photo so we can address the issue and send you the proper merchandise. We will send you a prepaid shipping label and you will not be responsible for any shipping fees if indeed there was a mistake on our part. 
  • The merchandise must be post-marked within 14 days from the ship date to receive a full refund.   
  • Upon receipt of your return, our Online Returns Department will inspect your merchandise.  We will gladly send out a replacement of the original item(s) purchased, at no cost, as long as the merchandise is available. If the merchandise is not available, you will receive a refund to the original form of payment used to make your online purchase. Returns must be unworn, unaltered, and unwashed with all tags attached. 

    Shipping and Handling

    Once an order is placed, you will receive an email confirmation. Your order will be shipped out within 2-3 business days. Once your order is shipped out, you will receive an email confirmation with tracking number.

    All orders under $45 will be charged a flat rate shipping fee of $5.00 for Standard Ground Shipping. 

    Standard shipping fee will be waived on all orders at or above $45. 

    *Alaska, Hawaii, P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO

    • Only Standard Delivery is available
    • Standard Delivery usually arrives within 5-13 business days from the shipped date, excluding holidays.
    • All packages are sent via United States Postal Services.

    We ship internationally!  There's a flat rate charge of $60 on all international orders.  For our Canadian neighbors, there is a $20 First Class Shipping fee.
